Photography has been a passion of mine since I was in high school. In my junior and senior high years, I worked as a free-lance photographer for a major Oklahoma City newspaper, The Oklahoma Journal. My first senior portrait shoot was when I was a high school junior and I shot my first wedding as a college freshman. Since then, I have been honored to be asked to photograph hundreds of weddings, as well as many individual, senior and family portraits. Even though I've been a professional photographer for over 25 years, I still enjoy and look forward to each wedding. I love to meet and photograph people and love to have fun while shooting weddings and portraits. I've been told that I have this "knack" of putting people at ease and making the entire photo experience a lot of fun. I always tell people that I am there "to serve them" and to photograph what they would like in order for them to have a lasting photographic collection of precious memories of their special day. Another of my passions is photographing God's marvelous creations in nature as well as beautiful landscapes, cityscapes and wonderful manmade creations as well. I was honored in the year 2000 when one of my very favorite photographs was selected to win 1st place in a world-wide Air Force photography competition. The photo-art is called "Heroes Remembered" and is an on-camera double exposure of the US Flag and the wall of names honoring those killed on the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I took this picture on a wonderful trip to Hawaii with my beautiful and precious daughter, Desiree.
